Year Round Access to the Fox River Trail
Community Story

In January 2017, Brown County, the cities of Green Bay and De Pere and the Village of Allouez passed a collaborative agreement to make the Fox River Trail accessible year-round by removing snow in the winter months as a result of an advocacy campaign led by Wello.
By utilizing a letter writing campaign, Wello gave residents and businesses a chance to tell their local municipalities how a cleared trail would improve their community. It is part of a bigger movement in the Greater Green Bay area toward building a community with an improved transit system and a community that makes biking and walking attractive, year-round alternatives to motorized commutes.
