Wello Team Member Appointed to National Farm to School Network Advisory Board

We are excited to share that Wello's Director of Strategic Partnerships, Beth Heller, has been appointed to serve on the National Farm to School Network Advisory Board!

The National Farm to School Network is dedicated to spreading six community values - economic and environmental justice, health, racial equity, workers rights, and animal welfare – and works to move our country closer to a just, equitable food system that promotes the health of all school children and benefits producers, workers, educators, and their communities.

The National Farm to School Network increases access to local food and nutrition education to improve children’s health, strengthen family farms, and cultivate vibrant communities.

We'd like to thank Wello's Farm to School Task Force members for the amazing work in Brown County that got our region noticed and we're excited to elevate our region's innovative and collaborative approach to Farm to School to the national stage as well as have the opportunity to learn from other leaders in the field!

The Wello Farm to School Task Force is made up of Ashwaubenon School District, Green Bay Area Public School District, Green Bay Area Catholic Education (GRACE), Howard-Suamico School District, Oneida Nation School System, Pulaski Community School District, Unified School District of De Pere, School District of West De Pere, Wrightstown Community School District, and Seasonal Harvest LLC.
