Catalyzing a People-Powered Movement for Well-Being

Well-being starts with “we.” This is not only our tagline, a collective “we” is Wello’s foundation for catalyzing a people-powered movement around collective well-being in Northeast, Wisconsin.

Why? At Wello, we want to create a world where all people thrive. No exceptions. To do this, we work to build-up our collective “we” by fostering relationships and trust across and within our community. This often brings together people from different backgrounds, perspectives, and sectors to create a shared vision for a desired future. But those things alone aren’t why we’re different at Wello.

Core to our strategic vision is the importance of experimenting, piloting, and trying new ways of reaching that preferred future. We use tools, like the Wello Community Health and Well-Being Survey, to deepen our understanding of community needs and identify where people are thriving, struggling, and suffering. Then, we bring people together to take collective action in ways that continually refine and test ways of addressing the root-causes of the challenges people face in their day-to-day lives. From hunger to safety, Wello’s process of multi-solving ensures that no matter the specific issue people are experiencing, we take holistic, comprehensive collective action. The very process of doing this work - centered on relationships and trust - builds shared experiences that make future, larger change possible. In sharing our collective wins, we further demonstrate that when we work together, the impossible can become possible.
