Wello and partners named 2024 Robert Wood Johnson Foundation Culture of Health Prize Finalist

We are thrilled to announce the City of Green Bay, Casa ALBA Melanie, COMSA, We All Rise African American Resource Center, and Wello have earned Green Bay the recognition of being a finalist for the 2024 Robert Wood Johnson Foundation (RWJF) Culture of Health Prize!

What Does This Mean?

Since its launch in 2013, RWJF and the Prize have recognized more than 60 communities across the US highlighting community-led solutions that prove another world is possible when barriers to health are broken down. The Prize honors the work of communities like ours that are at the forefront of addressing structural racism and other injustices.

This finalist recognition is a reflection of the work of all our partners to ensure everyone can reach their best health and well-being through community power-building, cross-sector partnerships, policy reform, systems change, and the reclamation of cultural practices.

What's Next?

Wello and our partners will be hosting RWJF reviewers in Green Bay come November to showcase our work to co-create a culture of health. Up to 10 communities can receive the Prize with each winner receiving $250,000 which will be announced in 2025.

We think our community can MATCH that prize, showcasing our strong, local commitment to well-being as well as garner national awareness for your organization. If your business is interested in learning more, please contact Natalie at natalie@wello.org

Let's bring this prize home, Green Bay!
